Eeep. Now I have glorious images of Jack, Donna, and The Doctor running around the universe saving things. I really love your take on this pairing, on Jack and The Doctor and just. Everything. All your prose really just brings the Doctor's world to life, I love the way that you make him think, because he's just so him in your fics. It's quite lovely. ♥

You've really made me love them in this. Jack is just so very Jack and all the introspection that Ten does is just so him as well. His brain never stops intellectualizing over things. Loved the little mention of Koschei you slipped in there. And I love your sense of humor. "Maybe I should bang the set." :D It's brilliant the way you put the moments of levity in amongst the seriousness. For these characters that's an integral part of them.

But Donna FTW! Donna should always be on the TARDIS travelling with the boys. :)

This is absolutely brilliant! I'd quote my favourite bits, except at least half the fic would be in here. While I love your humour and the completely in-character banter between the two of them, perhaps what I love most is the Doctor being completely honest about why he thinks his companions want him - and Jack pointing out that he's old enough and had enough experience not to be like that. And then the Doctor countering that Jack just wants not to be in charge. I suspect they're both right in a way, but perhaps the Doctor just can't acknowledge that Jack really does love him, because he doesn't believe he deserves to be loved.

Loved it :)

This is fantastic! I can absolutely hear the Doctor in this. Plus, I like the idea of a bored Jack reading literature. It amuses me, but I think it's plausible for him. Deep waters and all.
