25th Spark || [Video] Backdated to morning of 11/9
[It's a close up view of a desk's surface that first greets the viewers, coupled complete silence...or as much silence as you could have with the Goldenrod background music playing. Then, a sigh, and the sounds of nervous shuffling reach the Gear just before it's flipped right side up to show Merlin's face.]
All right. [He takes a breath, eyes flicking to the side for a moment. Whatever it is that's caught his gaze off-screen seems to give him some courage, as he sits up straighter in his chair and erases most of the nervous tension lingering in his frame.] There's just a couple things I wanted to say, so I'll keep this message short.
Newcomers have been arriving in Johto pretty regularly, and I can't be the only one who's noticed several of them mentioning Team Rocket. They've been awfully quiet for months and...it's been on my mind. I'm sure the people who have been here longer have been wondering, too.
S-so. [And here, the nervousness resurfaces briefly before he covers it up again.] I think some of us should make a trip to their headquarters again, have a look around. If they're still recruiting, it means they're planning something--probably have been for all this time. I don't think any of us want to be caught off guard like last time.
If you want to be a part of the group...let me know. A friend's taught me how to shield the responses to my message so I should be the only one who sees them, in case anyone is worried. I won't let anyone who contacts me get hurt over this. [A shaky sigh as he finishes.] Thanks.
