[He swallows, then redirects the Gear so that the viewers can see Rise and Yosuke lying on their backs, more than a few pokemon crowding around them in panic.] I think they might have looked into the shells by accident. The pokedex said their spirits must have been--[Merlin falters, shaking his head frantically.] It can't be right.
