I'm still 18, damn it

I don't care what the law says or what my license says or what anyone else says, like they really give a damn! I'm 18, and I'll be 18 until I turn 21. Being 18 was so much fun... so many interesting things happened in my life at the young, tender age of 18. Now I'm 19, and nothing matters... "oh, I get to drink in Ca-na-da! Yeah, those hoosiers really know how to party!" Come to think of it, a lot of the comedy that influenced me throughout the years derived from our snotty neighbors from the north. SNL....The Kids in the Hall...that really old variety show starring John Candy, Rick Moranis and that guy from American Pie...Jim Carrey... is this a good thing? When I go up to Canada, though, I don't laugh that much... well, I do have hilarious cousins, but then they begin to impose their anti-American sentiment upon me. Little do they know that ... I don't give a damn.

To think that all my loved ones regarded my birthday as "just another day." You know, the only people that outright remembered were, well, girls. Hm, have I narrowed my focal point on life to a point where all I do is dream about ... women? This can't be healthy.... but it is fun!

Work sucks. My job is a true tribute to Office Space, except there really isn't much I can do to improve my situation. I already have it pretty good, but I could have it better...

I think after Yale and before whatever grad life I choose (business or law are likely, but I could still want that film degree...) I'm going to become a freeter, studying life as I venture along. I'll be a living breathing Goldenboy... I think it's what I'm destined to do. Now, please, someone, talk me out of it...
