Rethinking with the rain falling outside
At 3am, I find I am good with IW except for the post credits.
Because not only did they cut Maria out of IW, but they also eliminated her chance to be part of the next movie in any significant way, and since she's in the credits scene and nowhere else, there's no-one for her to have the emotional resonance of reunion in A4.
And I'm the only person actually invested in her in fandom, so I won't even find more than *patpats* there...
