It's AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON day!
I don't know whether to chew my nails to the quick, or just do flaily arms all day.

Wait, that looks like a Mexican wave.

Anyway.
The sun is shining (albeit through grey clouds) and Sydney hasn't been entirely washed away. We're lucky - our house is on brick stilts, not slab, and we have no underground, so we haven't had any leaks. The main roof doesn't leak (after 60+ hours of cyclonic storm, I think we can say that there are no leaks) and there is one issue at the laundry door, but that's related to the guttering leading onto the porch roof.
I think most of my garden has survived (although some of the plant leaves are looking a little waterlogged) and the parentals touched down yesterday morning in one piece.
I am slowly getting my show quilts done.
This is "Swarm":
It needs at least another three sections of equivalent size to be complete, and then I have to quilt it.
There's still another quilt to go, and I'd like to submit a third quilt for the Modern Quilt Show...but I'm not sure I'll have the time to do it. Time is of the essence here, and I'm all out of it in the coming weeks.
heroinesbigbang has fallen by the wayside, I got Luna's section done, and I'm halfway through Angela's headspace, but nothing more.
Maybe I should just write them all out of order? But I also have
space_swap (and
colls, I'm going to need a bit more time to get this done - when's your last date when I can get my pinch hit in? Or are you waiting on me? Can it wait until Saturday?)
And the pulled muscle in my calf twinged this morning while I was running for the train.
This is not good. Not. Good.
But I am at work and I am getting things done. Yay for that.
