crazy woo-woo guy

That is now Will's official job title, in my head. :-)

I actually consider Will to be in his thirties--I think I randomly chose 32 in the pilot at some point--just because he did seem to have built a pretty solid reputation with the FBI and with the PD in between crazy-woo-woo. Plus, consider that he's got a Ph.D.; even if he started training a Quantico before he finished his dissertation (and why would anyone put themselves through that?) that's still three to five years of postgraduate study, meaning he didn't get started in law enforcement until he was 25-27. (Alternately, it's remotely possible the FBI paid for his graduate education, but that still means he worked for them for the 3-5 years necessary to finish it.) So 32 (well, 34 as of the cliffhanger) feels like a nice, reasonable number for me.

And, yeah, "Penance" gives us an approximate age of 28 for Kate as of that episode. Which makes sense, because she's had time to build up some major skills and enough of a rep in the underground that the Cabal were willing to hire her for a sensitive job. Henry I peg closer to Will's age, but that's just arbitrary.

The Old City PD would definitely think that of him! :D

And, yeah, your timeline makes sense. I just have really bad judgement when it comes to ages.
