And let's just say that I've seen enough AUs where Teyla was thrown out of the mix, dumbed down, or made 'minor' to feel the need to explain why she's the heroine in mine.

(Although, really, Ronon's just a human guy. Trained as a demon-hunter, with really good reflexes and an impressive arsenal set, but not a vampire.
There isn't really an Angel analogue in this AU as I see it.)
