eternal rewrites of the perfectionist mind
Every time I try rewriting my YT fic, I keep changing my mind on how I want it to go.
Writing has not been happening this month. (I think I mentioned that.) And now the heat has arrived and thinking is not happening.
DAMMIT, IT'S ALREADY CHRISTMAS. WTF.
I think I'm going to have to just do what my recip suggested as an 'easy out', which is ~1000 words of how pretty these characters are. I just can't.
With cases rising in NSW and our premier doing absolutely sweet FA about containing the spread ("personal responsibility"), given that this is the time of year when the emergency is full anyway because everyone is an idiot, our numbers are not looking great. So I've put the Summer Solar series on hold for the moment.
Also, I'd like to make it to Christmas Eve with the Dad-Cousins, Christmas Day with the Mum-Cousins, and Boxing Day with the Steps. So things are being cut down quite a bit between now and then.
And I'm hungry and need to make a decision about dinner. It'll probably end up being a boiled egg or something.
