Inevitable first day: they have a laptop for me, but no system access...
So I probably could have stayed home today and gotten more done. Oh well, guess I'll just sit around here writing...
All the faces around the office are familiar, even if I didn't meet them properly before. Now that there's a lot less people in the office (because they're agricultural based they've had to downsize several times thanks to the drought) it's easier to keep track of names and faces.
Still, it's a little amusing to note that the floor which was utterly packed (to the point of not knowing where to put new people) a year or two ago, is now 2/3 empty.
Okay, time to write the stories...
