(no subject)
its 9pm. i left my 9 to 5 (to actually 9) job.
all i ate today was chewable vitamin c.
but i have toasty waffles toasting.i cant eat toast (actual) because our bread always lingers to long.
no one is home, so i have the tv to myself. endless hours of the spanish channel, rhode island news briefs, PAX and static.
when i am rich those will be two of my luxuries. cable. and endless supplies of fresh bread- loaves of which can be thrown out at the end of each day, or fed to pigeons and ducks.
and gulls.
oh, and i have to say i strongly had to resist the urge to use work type terms in this.
touch base. lets connect. swing by. check in. streamline. status check.
these are fun ways i came up with to say "you are in trouble- whats taking so long?"
it makes it doubly annoying if you enthusiastically sign everything "thanks! lynsey!" and you are 23 and they are 45. and respond to everything with "wonderful!".
i get a kick out of the "wonderful!". it really pizzazzes my day.
