He didn't know what he'd done to deserve all of this abuse - even from people who didn't know who he was! Didn't even know his name! And yet even they thought they had the right to talk about his sex life and spread false, vile rumours about him.
If he just didn't see or talk to anyone from the community, he couldn't be accused of whoring it up anymore. And even if they did accuse him of it, he wouldn't see it.
He sat on his bed, toying with an ornate woman's hair comb. He turned it over in his fingers, staring at the black screen of his computer on the other side of the room.
It only occurred to him now that someone might come to see him, either Devit himself, or Kuroro, to find out what was going on.
Well, if they did, he'd just explain it. It wasn't like they thought those things of him. They might not understand, but he figured that when it came right down to it, they'd just move on with their lives without him. It wasn't a really big deal.
