So it's finally February. This month holds much more promise than the previous few. I just hope it pans out as expected, or even better. Hank should be getting his money soon, so that means new carpet, paint, window blinds/curtains, and a new TV for the living room. (The one we have is about Hank's age, and from where they were kids, the buttons on the tv are pressed in so you HAVE to use the remote to do anything. Oh, and did I mention the remote HATES me? I can't turn off the TV sometimes for some reason... I"m convinced it hates me. Whenever I give it to Hank to turn it off, it works right away. I don't get it.
Might get a PS3 also while we have the money, even thought there aren't many good games coming out right now for it. Hank will definitely want Final fantasy though, and we gave the ps2 back to Heather because she wanted it back, which by the way, she says doesn't work since we brought it back to her. We had some problems with playing grand theft auto San Andreas when Trey would come over and play, but other than that it seemed ok... now she says it' won't read any disks, so I need to go over and take a look at it. It might just need to be cleaned, or maybe it finally crapped out. I swear, the play stations piss me off. The PS2s seem so cheaply made compared to the other systems, and the least durable out of the group. We have had so many problems between getting it to play dvds, and the controllers fucking up, and now it won't read anything... and not to mention the price tag of the PS3... I'd not buy one out of protest, if it wasn't for Hank's love for final fantasy. I'm perfectly happy with my Wii and Hank's xbox 360. If anyone ever wants to come over and play, just let me know and we'll set something up.
Speaking of the wii... I love it! I'm still amazed with the mechanics of it all, I played wee sports yesterday until my arm got sore, and Trey started throwing a hissy fit while I was trying to play bowling with him. I broke a hundred on bowling, and got a few more strikes under my belt... and I think I finally mastered getting the ball to hook to the right.... mine always wants to go left. Oh, and my fitness age today was 46. A big improvement from 72.. lol. Crystal got a Wii too, so we go over there every Thursday with a few other people from work that have class late that night and play Wario Ware and sports. I can't wait until pario party 8 comes out... and smask brothers. That's gonna be awesome. So, whenever I pitch in my two Wiimotes, we have a total of 4. I've got to get some of those sleeves for it so I can tell them apart. I want a hot pink one, and Hank wants a green one. They've got 'em cheap in ebay but they ship from hong kong.
