good times, bad times
So here's the good news...I may be moving up to baker's apprentice very shortly! I was told on Monday night to ask the store manager for some form something or other to fill out for it. I have my 30 day meeting with him on Saturday, so I plan on asking then.
For the bad news...Kylie AND Daniel have pink eye. In fact, Daniel got it first, and then Kylie got it in BOTH eyes. You read right...BOTH EYES! Does anyone out in cyberspace realize how difficult it is to live with an adult with pink eye, let alone a(n almost) 10 month old?! I mean, my God! Daniel gets some goopy mess that I have to put in his eye. It's an antibiotic in neosporin form. I have to make a "ribbon" with the mess inside the lower eyelid of the affected eye. Three times a day. The first time I'm not even that much awake, cause he can't drive within I don't remember how long after putting them in. Then Kylie gets one drop in each eye every 4 hours. It is SO HARD to keep her little eyelids open. The only time that it's been completely successful and didn't take four years was last night when both of us pinned her down including her arms and legs. Who knows how that's going over in daycare. HA! Not my problem. Well, it is, cause I have to do it when she comes home, and she is my daughter after all. But that's what I pay them the big bucks for, right?!
Anyway, I gotta go put on some makeup and blowdry my hair. Time for work soon!
