Power Switch/Timeloop Event details
Hi, guys! It's Pied here again, bringing you details of the upcoming Power Switch and Timeloop events. Here's the list of who is switching with whom:
Quistis will be giving powers to Vincent
Penelo will be giving powers to Steiner
Laguna will be giving powers to Shelke
Sephiroth will be giving powers to Snow
Ondore will be giving powers to Cid Raines
Kain will be giving powers to Dr Cid
Squall will be giving powers to Zack
Ultimecia will be giving powers to Lightning
Power Switch
For those of you who are receiving powers i.e. all you guys listed on the right hand side, you will get your new powers somewhere between the 18th and 25th July. This means that Lightning will suddenly become a kickass Sorceress, Dr Cid will discover a new affinity with spears and dragons, and Steiner will have the urge to dance. And so on!
Timeloop
Those of you who are giving powers i.e. everyone listed on the left hand side will have to wait a bit longer for this event. The timeloop is due to start on 16th August, and there will be more details about that nearer the time. The timeloop will affect everybody, but the characters who give their powers will pass out some time during it.
What happens when they pass out? Ellone ports their consciousness back in time to the people they are donating powers to. In other words, everything that happens to the power-switched characters will be witnessed by the ported characters inside their heads. Sorceress Lightning will have Ultimecia in her head, heaven forbid. Everything Vincent does while power switched will be witnessed by Quistis.
So! Here is your chance to plot, because this is important. You must post something while your character is power switched. A log, a network post, whatever. It needs to be something that the ported character can react to later. For example, Steiner is going to dance with Beatrix and work up the courage to propose to her. This will happen during the power switch. Then, during the timeloop, Penelo will pass out and watch all that unfold. The same scenario will be repeated, but at a later date and from a different point of view.
