Knitting: Project #18: First sock done! Yay!

I'm so excited! I finished my first sock! *bounce* Kitchener stitch was something that scared me, and I don't know why, because it was really quite simple.

There are mistakes in this sock, and a couple areas I'll have to stitch closed with some thread, but all things considered, I think I did a pretty darn good job!

Yay!! Ron went from scarf --> sock. :)

He hasn't been able to find good instructions on the Kitchener stitch. Do you have any to share?

The written instructions the KAL leader sent didn't really make sense to me, so I used the KnittingHelp.com video: http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/knitting-tips (a good way down the page, under Finishing). Pretty straightforward, and I got it right away after watching. :)

Thank you! There are some goof-ups in it, but overall it wasn't bad. I used a needle and thread to fix things. :)

I love that site. There have only been a couple videos on there that either just didn't help, or confused me more. I'm thinking about buying the CD they put out, as a show of support, because I've used those videos so many times now....
