[There's a short burst of static before the broadcast begins, and some shouting in the background before there's a man's voice, speaking in a hurried undertone.]
Ezra: This is Ezra Rowatt, reporting in for C-L-four-C-K-S. I'm here at Unseen University, where a horrible development has taken place.
[After a faint rustling sound, he begins speaking again, this time sounding weary.]
Ezra: An informant at the scene has just told me that... that, the ambassadors from Vohemar and Ivona, who had assembled here on neutral ground for peace talks... have all been mercilessly slaughtered! Members of the city watch, as well as Ivonan and Vohemaro officials, are swarming all over the University as I speak, presumably in search of the culprit.
[There's more rustling, sounding almost like branches?, and a gravelly voice that Ezra responds to away from the microphone. What they're saying is too soft to pick up anything but a few faint tones.]
