LET'S CLEAR UP SOME THINGS.
A lot of people don't seem to know what classification to use, for others or for themselves, when concerning diets.
I am a vegetarian, specifically a lacto-ovo-vegetarian. No, I do not eat fish. People who do not eat any meat but fish, are called pescatarians; but generally someone who is a pescatarian will just call themselves a vegetarian, because no one seems to know what a pescatarian is... because pescatarians only ever call themselves vegetarians!
Yes, I drink milk and eat eggs. Lacto-vegetarians don't eat eggs (lacto, coming from the Latin for milk), and ovo-vegetarians don't have dairy (ovo, you guessed it, Latin for egg).
Vegans don't eat eggs or have any dairy products, or honey. Anything that comes from an animal.
No, I do not eat poultry, I'm not a pollotarian!
Gosh.
