My ASTROPUNK CONCEPT ALBUM idea is back in action (Astropunk meaning something similar to cyberpunk or steampunk, not punk rock.) with my awesome new partner in music-ocity, Monique! idealia I'll tell yah folks, this girl has some amazing guitar talent and is a sweetheart at that. She's got a really unique style that's perfect for the project and so far our work together has been pretty fantastic, so it seems like this band of ours is gonna stick. One song is almost done and the next is already off to a good start. Her stuff inspires me a lot and my vocals are much better with her music to work with. We're producing a pretty unique prog-rock sound and I'm proud to say my lyrics have been quite non-formulaic, as well. The storyline is also getting better and better, as I've been writing it in fragments for a while now, (the best way to write) and overall it's extremely original. I even have an unconventional yet satisfying ending planned that could also lead to a related yet wildly different sequel story for a potential 2nd album.
