The new

In the cold of the night
I won't feel a chill
You light me up
I can't get my fill
There's no fire needed
The heat radiates from my skin
And as you touch me
I melt: A river of sin
My breath hitches
You don't read my struggle
I pause, finger flinches
Into your neck I snuggle
I can't do this yet
The voice echoes in my head
Still I fret, I begin to sweat
I lie still against the bed
It means so much to me,
But what do I mean to you?
It would come so easily
I know you have no clue
Should it mean so much?
I don't want this doubt
And then I feel your touch
Makes me want to shout
But not yet, all in due time
I hope you're still here
If you find it worth the climb
Maybe you won't, I fear.
