Soooo I'm anticipating a late night tonight. I slept all afternoon, and even though I've got a headache going on, I dont think more sleep is going to be an option. Also, I'm watching the Canucks game, and it's not going so well, so a distraction would be a nice thing.

Melting snow works its way down the side of Jordan’s face as he tries to catch up to Taylor, or at least get close enough that he can hit him with the snowball he’s currently got in his hand. He’s almost caught up to the younger man, but then his foot catches on a tree-branch that’s been concealed by the snow, and he’s tumbling forward into the soft powder.
Next thing he knows, Taylor’s laughing face is hanging over his, and he can’t help but grin up at his best friend and lover. “Truce?” asks Taylor, before flopping down beside Jordan in the snow. Jordan kind of still wants to get Taylor back for dumping a bunch of snow on his head, but he figures that can wait for another time.
Instead, he leans over Taylor, and presses their lips together in a soft kiss, just revelling in the moment. At least until the snow around them starts to melt, and soaks into their jeans, and they get to their feet and make their way back to their apartment. Just before they go inside, and escape from the cold, Jordan pulls Taylor to him for another kiss. The snow keeps falling all around them, ignored, as they hold one another tightly, and kiss each other warm.
