Christmas Eve Party and Christmas Presents
Wow, this has been a busy holiday. Usually my family has a big Christmas Eve party at my grandparents' house. But with the death of grandpa and the sudden increase in family members (lots of births and marriages recently), grandma didn't feel like hosting it. So mama and I got roped into hosting the party since our house is the biggest one in the family. Now don't get me wrong. Our house isn't huge, it's just bigger than grandma's.
So me, mama, and two of my aunts spent the whole week before Christmas cleaning the house so that it wouldn't look like a piece of shit when everyone arrived. Anyway, the party went off without a hitch and mama was sore for three days afterward. On to the next topic.
I LOVE my Christmas gifts!!! I got a new HD widescreen monitor and speakers for my computer. Now it all matches! YAY! You see, I bought a Dell computer package earlier this year and didn't realise that a monitor didn't come with it. So I had a new, black keyboard, mouse, and tower with my old monitor and speakers (white). But my mama hooked me up this Christmas and all is right with the world.
