More Details on the Chicago Vacation- Recommendations Wanted
I know I just posted, but I wanted to spill all the details in case any of you had any suggestions or tips.
My friends from school: Cody (boy..giggle), Brittany (ex-roomate), and Brit's friend Ayako are driving down. We are buying those city passes for $59 that get you into 5 attractions and you get to skip lines.
The plan is:
Wednesday: They get here. We take the L to Millenium Park, tour Navy Pier, and come back to eat Lou Malnatis: Real Chicago Pizza!!
Thursday: 9:30 we hit the Planetarium. I have never been to the planetarium so I am excited for this. Then grab quick food and head to the Field Museum until 5 when it closes. Then we bum around, head back, or do whatever.
Friday: 9:30 we go to the Museum of Science and Industry. Cody really wants to go to this becuase hes an aerospace engineer and wants to tour the U-boat. He is such a nerd. (look whose talking, I know lol). Then, we go to the Shedd Aquarium until 6 when it closes. I want to see the dolphin show...hehe.
THEN SATURDAY/THE BIG DAY: We sleep in and relax after our big run around, then we get dressed up, go to the top of the Sears Tower, take pictures, be tourists. AND THEN: we go to see WICKED!!!!! We got four cheap balcony tickets and the three of them have never seen it. This is going to rock. Then tey drive back Sunday morning.
We have Thursday and Friday nights compltely open so -NEIL- if you are having a cool show 4 college students would be interested in let me know. Or if theres a cheapy/good place to eat that you recommend. Lay it on me! This is going to be such an awesome week. The only thing its missing is a Sox game becuase they made me go to a Tigers game while I was in Michigan, but its ok. I go to Sox games with my dad.
