Peter/Olivia, season two, post-The Man from the Other Side
The wood of the bar bounced the bar's dim light into her eyes as she took a drink from her whiskey.
Peter was gone. He was a whole universe apart, and hell, he'd gone there of his own free will. She'd even helped send him there, in her own way.
The rest of her drink tipped back, she gestured at the waiter silently. Olivia didn't want to chat.
She'd been here with Peter once. As she glanced back toward the table where they'd sat, the bartender swung by with her whiskey.
When she turned forward, she was met with a concerned gaze. She parried the look by putting the glass to her lips and taking a sip. There were two ways she knew how to deal with problems. Throwing herself into solving them, or drink them away.
This problem had no solution.
