Weekend at Home
I had a pretty good extended weekend at home.
-Went to dinner and a movie with Briana on Tuesday night. We saw Elf and ate at On the Border. Watched "I Am Sam" later in the evening. Great evening all around.
-Wednesday went shopping with mom and Tiffany and to Tippin's for lunch. Then to Poncho's in Ottawa with Grandma, Tyler, Tiffany and mom. Stayed in Lawrence that evening with Ashley and Laurie. Had a drinkin' good time.
-Thursday went to dinner at Mellott's. Delicious. Took a nap. Talked to other grandma. Read a book that evening--"Because of Winn-Dixie." A very good adolescent novel.
-Friday went shopping at 6 a.m. Picked out some Christmas presents and watched the craziness. Then slept all day and poked around on a little homework while watching Tyler recover from his wisdom teeth extraction. Went to the Plaza with Cara for dinner and shopping. Had an amazing meal at Houston's and shopped at Saks Fifth Avenue, Halls, Barnes and Noble, Gap, Banana, etc.
-Saturday trizzled out around the house and went to Wal-Mart for some things. Got ditched for dinner by the livin' lovers, so I made dinner with mom. Chicken and rice, corn and rolls. It was fabulous. Then went to Lawrence and hung out with Briana, Nikki and Ben. We made seven layer dip and just sat around. And I went to Gap and bought a sweater for $20. I had a $10 off coupon and they were on sale.
-Today got up and loaded the car and went to Doc & Brutie's with mom for lunch before hitting the road. Kelley's was closed. :(
Overall, great weekend. Now three more weeks till a VERY extended weekend. Actually, make that two weeks! Ow ow. :)
