An update on Moi
Well, I guess I haven't updated in a while, so I suppose I should do something so you all know I'm not dead.
Work, is, well...work. I got transfered to another mall about 10 minutes from my house, a couple weeks ago. I got transferred, cause the manager there needed a new Assistant Manager, since her previous Assistant decided to move to the Yukon. Why she dediced to move there, I have no idea. So yeah, I got shipped over to the other mall to take her place. 40 hours a week, 2 weeks paid vacation, and I get $9.75/hr, soon to be $11.00/hr. It's been busy, but good. Im learning a lot and I keep getting more and more stuff to read through and fill out. Oh well, it's all part of the job.
Hmm..in other news, we've got snow here in wonderful Calgary. Not very much, but snow non the less. It comes and goes, but it never goes too far. We could have snow and it will be -7, and within 3 hours all the snow is gone and it will be 15 C. It's seriously messed up.
Went and saw The Protector the other day. It was really really good. The martial arts in that movie were incredible. There is only one problem to going to see a movie that is at a theatre located in a mall..you always end up shopping. BAD ME!! *slaps wrist*. I ended up getting 2 books, plus a Chapters member card, so $67.95 and Chapters right off the bat, then I got 2 movies from HMV, 2 for $30 plus tax, then I got a new pair of head phones which were $20, a couple gifts for people which cost about $30, plus lunch which was $12, then there's the cost of the movie plus food, $30 right there. SO in total, I spent way too much lol. Oh yeah, I got a new wallet too which was $10. Then I had to take the train and bus home and that's $2.25. I think that was the cheapest part of my day. Oh well. It's not like I spend a lot of money on myself nowadays anyways. I never go out anymore, so I think im allowed to spoil myself every so often.
I guess one big thing I could mention took place at work a few days ago. Lately, at our mall there's been this guy who comes in to stores, wont buy anything, but will stand around and stare at the female employees. He's come in to our store a bunch of times, but we never thought anything of it, cause we cant report him till he actually does something wrong. Well, anyways, I had gone on my break this one day and was in line in the food court. While I was waiting for my food, creepy stalker guy shows up not too far from where I was waiting. I get my food and find a booth in the food court, he follows me and sits a couple tables away, but sits so that he's facing me. He doesnt have any food or anything, he just sits and stares. When I was done eating, I headed back to work. He gets up and cuts me off. He wont let me go past him. He grabs my arm and tries to pull me in towards him. I'm freaking out, but try to not to give in. I screamed at him, grabbed his arm back, twisted it behind him, kicked him in the crotch then elbowed him in the throat. This causes him to let go of me and allows me to hold him to the ground using my knee in to his spine. Security shows up and takes him away and asks me to come with them. They congratulated me on taking on this mall stalker and finally being able to ban him from the mall. They wrote me a cheque as a reward and I head off to work. No too bad for a girl eh? :P They dont call me the Hulk at work for nothing. hehe.
Well, I think that's about it for now. I'll try and update more frequently...if I remember that is.
