As much as I would like to delve into a deep analysis of this book, I really can't find the words. It was just extraordinary.
I've read Ayn Rand before (The Fountainhead and Anthem, both of which I count among my favorites), and the more I read, the more I like.
I will readily admit that this was my first adventure into the world of audiobooks. Given the length of this novel, I'm fairly sure it would have taken me a lot longer to finish if I'd read it rather than listened to it. I'm definitely planning to get the book and read it in the not so distant future, but with two internships looming in my last year of school, I think it might have to wait until after graduation. And maybe then I'll be able to discuss it in the manner that this book really deserves.
Until then, I say delve into it if you have the time. If not, pick up the audiobook and get some use out of your daily commute.
