I had a great day

Today must have been THE best day of the school year so far. It honestly was lovely. In science I got my lab book back and figured out that I got 9/10 on my first demo that got marked. Not too shabby I suppose. I wasn't proud, but nor was I disappointed. I got all my homework done in class, which left me with no homework for Chemistry which is frikkin WEIRD! I have had chemistry homework every day since school has begun.

In math, I got a quiz back which I did not do well on, but I wasn't too disappointed because I had no idea what I was doing in the first place. If I had known and gotten that mark I probably would have flipped out. Such a strange thing happened...my realization that I don't hate Mr. K, I merely misunderstood him. I was loud last year, so he wasn't nice. I am not loud in any way this year, so he is very nice. I think he likes me because I do well by his teaching techniques....so far. This stuff that we are doing is very easy. Maybe it's just because I enjoy algebra....alot.

Art was, I think, the best period of the day. Our assignments this year are completely our choice. We are not assigned anything......we just do what we want. I suppose I should be thrilled, but I have no motivation to do anything in that class unless I absolutely have to. Now that I don't, I don't know how I'm going to get anything accomplished. But it's fun, I started drawing a lady thing from a painting I used in my proposal by Diego Rivera. He is a good painter. I like him. It is a good sketch so far. I'm feeling happy about that.

In law I got all my work done, twenty minutes before the bell, when it seemed as if the rest of the class had almost just started their work. Mind you, they were all talking.....all of them. I wasn't. HA! Of course I wasn't, I was sitting with Adam and he doesn't talk, he does his work. Good boy! I love you.

My weekend was full of junk. On Friday I went to Adam's after school, and it was fun because although he is getting very sick, we watched Home on the Range and it was funny. I loved it. Josh was gone, so we didn't have to listen to him sing to commercials. On Saturday I went to Adam's again, then left at six to go to the Legion and waitress for community hours. Then I went back to Adam's.....what a surprise. He is very sick...I want him to get better.
