Let's Talk About Why YOU Shouldn't Vote For Obama! - THE FACTS

Oct 28, 2008 18:19

With the next Presidential Election exactly a week away, I thought I'd share some facts with those of you who feel you must vote for Obama. I believe that you are simply uninformed from watching too much ABC, NBC, and reading the ever-far-left New York Times. People are constantly supporting Obama as a bandwagon effect. I am here to tell you, you ( Read more... )

i'm not even a FAN of obama -- neither of them are getting my vote -- but wow. i'd much rather him be my president than john mccain.

Furthermore, Obama wants to tax business owners and corporations so that the result of their higher taxes is to spread the wealth to all the lazy asses who won't go and make something of themselves??

wow, that's rude. i get off my "lazy ass," generally work 85 hours a week, and even though i'm single, i'm STILL considered poor by standards. i pay an astronomical amount of taxes (nearly $400/month) and i'm a single person.

Since when is it okay to bash a woman for all of her enormous accomplishments?

since she hasn't accomplished anything? i'm not trying to be rude, but what has she done?

She has raised a family, and done it well.

negative. if she raised her family "so well," her 17-year-old daughter wouldn't be knocked up and marrying a high school drop out.

Mothers can't do EVERYTHING for their 17-year-old daughters. Because her daughter is 17 and pregnant doesn't make Sarah Palin a bad mother by any means. You weren't in their household. I think that's ignorant to say. You and I both know how much the media and the world in GENERAL makes light of teen pregnancies nowadays. I came from a phenomenal Christian upbringing and I had my first pregnancy scare when I was 20. That doesn't mean my mother raised our family terribly. Far from the truth.

Let's also talk about the fact that shes SUCH a good mother that she has a high regard for human life and in turn would not allow her daughter to have an abortion.

but she wants rape victims to pay for their kit. she's too inconsistent for my taste.

i obviously don't agree with a single thing you've stated, but as usual, you've thought it out and haven't done your things BLINDLY like so many of my friends. do you know how many people i know who are voting for obama just because he's BLACK and are pissed i'm not because i am? that doesn't make a person a president! i'm happy, even if i don't agree with what you're agreeing with in the president, you've at least educated yourself and taken the opportunity to educate others. thanks for that, believe it or not.

if the tables were turned, if michelle was in this situation instead of sarah, i would put my life on the line the situation would be worse. she'd just be another, stereotypical, incompetent mother. instead, she's unable to predict what a 17-year-old will do therefore it's quasi-okay. just .. it just makes me go hmm.

i understand your sentiment and i definitely know what lindsey meant, but from my own personal experience, anyone who says otherwise about michelle being in this situation is a liar or ill informed. but i stand by what i said about the son. i do not approve of any woman who wants their daughter to GO INTO a situation where the child is being raised by a person with an 11th grade education. that's not cool.

THIS.

My parents taught me abstinence, and were GREAT parents. But, I made the decision to have sex before I was married. My parents didn't make it for me. My sister became pregnant at 18...Did my parents do anything wrong? No. They taught us what they believed and we made our own choices from there. My parents still raised a family and they did it well.

That wasn't directed, AT YOU, persay. But it is directed at those who milk the government for everything it's worth. And if you're considered poor now, what do you think you'll be considered when Obama raises taxes on the corporations and small businesses and you can't buy your groceries? Or new shoes when your old ones get holes in them? Or anything else you may need on the daily?

What has she accomplished? Well, shes a governor....I don't know any other woman who could just wake up, roll over, and become a governor, do you? She has obviously done a lot to get where she's gotten now.

I'm not even going to dignify the last remark with a response.

While I am not a fan of Sarah Palin, this part is true about her, and for it, I respect her.

nah, i know it wasn't directed at me, but i also don't think i'll be so poor if obama becomes president, either. unless i do like i have always wanted and marry a rich man, i've always known i'll be a member of the working poor because i want to be a private school educator and there's no money there to begin with.

there are a number of female governor's in our history. that doesn't make them accomplished in and of itself.
