and so it went...
and so i survived thanksgiving at my grandparents house. it was okay i guess. the food was good. i made liverball soup for the first time (i know it sounds gross but it's really soo yummy!). had some good turkey and such. slice of apple pie. got to see family again. which was fun.
my grandparents are just so hard to deal with right now. my grandmother's a drunk. especially last night. my granddad is really not doing well and is losing his mind. i think he remembered who i was once the entire time i was there (including the time i went to visit them with nick like a week or two ago). he kept calling me either audrey (my cousin) or brigitte (my sister), never emily. kind of sad. and then there are other things too. he doesn't remember things he did or said 5 minutes before. it's just hard. to see people you love getting old.
and so now i'm back at usc. ucla was too quiet and depressing, and they're not serving any meals until tomorrow night. so i made nick come and pick me up.
