I'm sure all of you have heard that for the 2007-2008 school year the Archdiocese is planning to merge Blenk and Immaculata, creating a completely new school-- new name, uniforms, and mascot. The faculty and staff at Blenk is not allowed to participate in any protest whatsoever, but have told us what we need to do. Each of us needs to write 3 letters... they can all say the same thing but need to be addressed to different people. One to Archbishop Hughes, one to Father William Maestri, and a general one to the Archdiocese of New Orleans Office. The address to send all three is 7887 Walmsley Ave., N.O., LA 70125. The content of the letter should be appropriate, nothing rude, dirty, or degrading. Write positive input on why you think Blenk should not be merged with Immaculata, not negative things about Immaculata. Please take the time to help our Alma Matter!!
