[A twiggy looking viking descends the stairs onto what has to be the best deck on the ship, in his personal opinion. He's got his pack over his shoulder--a well woven basket with straps that's a little over half his size and bigger around.

Gods, he doesn't even know where to start.

...He wants to start.

Stupid Jim better get his butt here quick.]

[cool your jets, viking boy, Jim's a comin'. B( He's got a pack on his shoulder carrying things you don't get to see yet. When he arrives on deck, he starts looking around for the Hiccup.]

Hey, you around here anywhere? Hiccup?

[Ping! That's Jim! He hears you, Jim!

...okay, where the hell are you, Jim? He can't see around all this...Luggage That Is Stacked Taller Than Him.]

Jim?

Can you hear me? I can't--

You're being obscured by a whole lot of bags right now. Just a heads up.

Ah, hey! [waving a hand above the luggage, look for it! And now he's trying to get around to follow the voice why are there so many bags here]

Hiccup! Come on, man, don't make me climb on top of this stuff!

[There was a woman in an outfit from the early 1900's speaking to him. Calmly, even. And not screaming.]

[Usually women in a 1920 outfits would not be expected to do this.]

[Don blinks, then takes the wire with an awkwardly friendly grin]

Oh, uh...thanks. I hadn't noticed.

[Don can't keep track of who Mikey knows and doesn't know anymore. "The whole ship" seems to just about cover it.]

[And she's expressing interesting in Don's science oh Charlotte, you poor soul. Run now.]

Hm...? Oh, just, you know, various experiments with compatibility and function. Possibly a few convoluted ventures as well, but those aren't planned well enough for me to say for certain.

[As it just so happens, there's a giant robot on his weekly scrap metal run. Don may or may not be subjected to something light being tossed on top of him.]

[Don was a ninja wound tighter than a bow string after the events of the last couple of months. He naturally knows Ironhide is there. He'd keeping constantly aware of his surroundings (...except for those few times he was momentarily distracted and absorbed in an interesting find but those don't count). He'd been vigilant.]

[That doesn't stop the light something from dropping on top of him.]

[Don, as good ninja-hood demands, yelps and flails]

[He sort of knew the turtle was there. Tangentially. Scanners picked him up and all, but finding this box of staples was important.]

Huh?

[Ironhide straightens, the staples still in hand, to peer over toward the flailing turtle.]

... What is the matter with you?

I'm assuming the light thing was a blanket tic_tech_turtle May 31 2010, 06:58:57 UTC
[Don shoves the blanket off his head and stands for a moment, tense, then glances up at Ironhide in half-flustered almost-surprise.]

...You threw a blanket on me.
