[Don is at the beach. There's first the sounds of someone moving through the water very carefully, along with very soft muttering over a lot of soft splashes that may or may not be pebbles sent to their watery graves at the bottom of the shallows.]
[This goes on for awhile.]
[Then there's, suddenly, an unhappy burst of static as something hard - possibly a pebble - collides with the comm and knocks it from where it had been sat.]
What was...Ah, wait-!
[A moment of frantic splashing later, and there's the sound of the comm being grabbed from the air rather violently, followed by a quick sigh of relief and more static as it's checked over for a few long seconds.]
Heh, well, aren't you lucky. Everything seems to be in order. That could have ended very badly for you if...you're on?

Sorry about that. I suppose I was a little...sidetracked. Um. I'd been wondering if anyone had noticed anything peculiar about the tides? Or perhaps noticed anything washed up - or not washed up - on the beach that may be of interest?
