Obviously we're all hearing the same voices - or, to be precise, the same susurration of voices - over these communication devices. Has anyone managed to, at least, track down the hall it's originiating from? Has anyone heard the sounds off of these devices? The odd manners of this boat may make it difficult to track down the source - and, potentially, the one in need of aid - by harmonics alone, but there is always the chance, isn't there? I haven't noticed any errors previously, though that doesn't seem to mean anything If the the Captain is interfereing with the search for and potential recovery of this person. Then, however, wouldn't he only have let us hear if he'd wanted us to react?
Then there are the less dire situations to consider, such as this being only a belated April Fool's prank, with the slight possibily of-

This wouldn't be another punishment, would it? I mean, of course I don't recognize the voice or I would have mentioned it, but perhaps there is one of you out there who does?
I was under the impression that punishments such as these were rare, but.
