Assorted cool music things
This is apparently about a WoW strategy thing, but the music is pretty so whatever. Warning: this will play music at you and there don't seem to be controls for making it stop or pause.
This seems to be a cool site for people who like folk music. Mostly they're selling disks and mp3s, but at least for the moment they have some free downloads available if you sign up. (and more available if you actually pay money to become a member.)
For those of you in the Seattle area, Vixy and Tony are playing at Wayward Coffee House this saturday night 8-10 pm. I love their music and can not recommend them highly enough.
Here is a pretty video of a two-guitar accoustic version of Stairway to Heaven. Mmmm, pretty classical and spanish guitar playing rock covers.
Also this sunday there's a flute and guitar duo playing mostly celtic folk tunes at the North Hollywood public library at 2pm. I'm not yet sure if I'm going or not, though. (They were playing Music at Noon on wednesday, which is how I know about this.)
I have the feeling I'm forgetting something, but can't think what at the moment.
