The Interview Cancelled

Yesterday, Sony Pictures cancelled the release of The Interview. Before they cancelled the release, many of their cinema partners decided to either postpone the showing or completely cancel it at their locations. The reason behind this action was a hacking incident where hackers made a death threat against Sony Pictures. Hackers threaten to perform terror events if the film was to be release to the public. This is an act of terrorism and a sad day for free speech. Seeing how Team America was release, I see no problem with this movie.

With the recent events in the world, such as the Sydney Siege where 2 hostage were killed, a question popped up: Would you still see a movie if there was a 5% (1 out of 20) chance of there being a terrorist attack at the theater?

I would still see the movie. Don't let your eveyday life be disrupted by these events. What do you think? Leave a comment.
