Video game sales are so weird. They rarely happen and when they do it's either a) really short or b) really crappy. Example: Lost Planet 2 was released on May 11th. Wal-Mart advertised the Xbox 360 version for $39.83 a week before it was released. Futureshop and Bestbuy advertised the price 59.99 in that same period. Suddenly out of no where, FS and BB drop there price to $39.99 a few days before May 11th without advertising it. You could only find it from word of mouth or if you checked their website. Now a day later FS and BB now have the game back to regular price at $59.99... That was a short hidden sale period. Another example: Crappy sales are quite common in video games. Quite regularly you see a lot of $5 dollar discount on a game that is $69.99. Now that's a crappy sale. The problem is that some games will never go on sale as new. You are forced to buy new at a high price or risk buying the game used at a ridiculous price of $5 less than the new game price due to stock issues.
It's so weird.
