This Christmas season was very good. Mom and I had a great time while she was here and I can't wait to go back to Michigan in the summer. My only regret is that I wish she had spent more time here so we could have done more. Poor woman didn't even see the ocean... Five straight nights of hanging out with a bunch of people and drinking is behind me (thank god) because tonight I am taking an evening for myself in San Jose to recoup and prepare for my next adventure to the South. Dad doesn't know I'm going yet--I really should get on that. On my way down here, I took an exit off of 680 and I did some exploring. Best few gallons of gas I've spent in a while.
