Back from Iowa everybody. Too much went on this weekend to be described in a single posting, so everybody will just have to talk to me personally if they want details. Overall though it was a great weekend. There's only one thing that really bugged me about saturday, and that was watchin the NFL draft on tv, watching Eli Manning get drafted first and looking like his mother had just died. What a thing to do. He went up there and didn't even put on the freaking hat! Then after the 4th pick of the draft, he got traded away (at way too high a price, i'm gonna say, too). But that was then, this is now.
Today, while driving home from iowa, we got the bright idea to stop at northern to see Jax. In an amazing feat of timing, we actually got to have lunch with her (though she didn't eat lunch, a mere technicality). Regardless, it was a great gyro.
I've been tryin to write this blog entry for like 5 hours now, I keep getting interrupted. So if my thoughts seem a little disconnected, that's probably why.
So the day is winding down. I am in desperate need of a shower, and a shave wouldn't hurt either. Better do that now cause i really need some sleep, too. Got school and work tomorrow....well pretty much all next week, and every week till june. keepin my eyes on the prize though. till next time......
