The Summer of Mark

Dec 31, 2006 23:57

So it's the end of the year and my Summer holiday is almost over. I had planned to clean up my room, draw heaps, study for my course starting in February, get fit, join the gym, run, swim, and ride my bike often, and other productive things... etc etc.

What I actually did:

  • Read books
  • Played Wii
  • Watched DVDs
  • Slept

"This was supposed to be the summer of George!"

I can't say I'm looking forward to going back to work on Tuesday, as it's been so peaceful this holiday of doing not much, but I'll be working up in Katoomba from next weekend for the Summer convention so that should be a change of scenery.

Oh Licorice, you lead an easy life...

"Just waking up now.. at 11 am.."

"I think I'll go back to sleep.."

"I'm going back to sleep now... you may leave"

Speaking of a change of scenery, I'm looking forward (with some trepidation) to starting my graphic design course in February and I'm planning to get a car at the end of next month.

Change is good.

2007?

I wonder what will happen and who I'll meet. I wonder what chain of events will unfold that will surprise me.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

What new surprises lie in store?

graphic design, car, katoomba, new year, wii, sleep, licorice
