It's a wii-nderful life!

Only two more sleeps to go until the Wii is here. Chris and I are going to the midnight launch on Wednesday night, and, I've got Thursday off work so it's going to be a great Thursday.

Staying overnight at the college tomorrow in an apartment due to working back late to do stocktaking. It'll only be one more sleep tomorrow until Wii-day though, so it's okay. And the college is paying for dinner tomorrow night too, so, I can deal. Won't have to wake up so early Wednesday morning to get to work, so, it's not so bad.

Went on a photo adventure with Helen today to the city. My DS Lite is broken. It keeps turning off about 30 seconds after I turn it on. Tried to take it back to JB Hi Fi tonight but they told me to contact Dr Mario at Nintendo in Melbourne instead. Boo. This means I'll have to send it to Nintendo in the mail and then wait for them to get back to me. Most annoying that.

Favourite quote of the day: "Over the years I have I continued to enjoy reading and collecting comic books. This is not a 'guilty pleasure' of mine, simply because I don't believe in 'guilty' pleasures. Snobbery is just the public face of insecurity. You like what you like, and you shouldn't feel guilty about your interests and hobbies".

Also, saw The Fifth Nation with Bec, Brad, and Chris on Friday night. We went to pancakes on the rocks afterwards. Was a late night, and didn't get my bazillion plans for the weekend done. Did a lot of sleep instead. But I wouldn't change anything.
