Its your birthday...oh...its your birthday
Only 11 more days till my birthday, hehe, im already officially old, so does this make me ancient then?
well, at least I always feel old. I was talking with my brother the other day and the first game system that we ever owned was a brand new nintendo gameboy *The Original*, followed by the sega genesis.
That was waay back in 1990 folks.
That was only a little bit after duran duran and flock of seagulls were popular. That was before the age of DVD players, we still even have a working beta VCR downstairs.
My brother saw one of Nirvana's first big stage concerts, and now its only really their music thats still alive.
I've seen little girls, like 5 year olds, running around in tube tops talking on their own cell phones, and I think to myself, that never would have been done way back in my day. It was all baggy teeshirts and stretch pants and all we had back then was TOY cell phones, because real ones were the size of bricks.
If i fell this old now, I'd hate to know what i'll feel like when im ny grandmas age. She was born the same year that the titanic sank.
does anyone else out there share my feeling of oldness?
