Iraq
We just found out recently that Billy was injured this last friday on the big raid of Fallujah. He was in command, and his group walked into a room with 4 insurgents. He immediately got 4 bullets in his vest, he took out the first two guys that shot him, but when he went to take out the third, the third guy let go of a grenade. Billy was sent over to germany to get a couple of surgeries and all bandaged up. But the situation has left him concussed to the point of loss of hearing, and he was full of schrapnal, they pulled 16 pieces out of his arms alone. There is nerve and tendon damage, he has lost most use of his arms. He will be in rehab for at least 6 months.
Please pray for the troops out there fighting. This whole war situation may not hit close to home for you, but it has for me.
This has been a fight to give the same freedom to Iraq that we enjoy freely, many families have made sacrifices for a war that most americans don't even understand.
Even if you do not support the war, these are brothers and sisters out there fighting for a better world to live in, please PLEASE dont make it into another veitnam.
There is no peace without war.
