I've been cleaning my bedroom.
... well, okay this consists more of moving stuff out of the way so I can get at the carpet, scanning it obsessively for stray beads and bits of beading wire, picking out little bits that are stilll too big for the vaccuum cleaner, then running it then running the carpet cleaner.
There were thick clumps of what looked like dust, and the water that the machine sprayed into the carpet then sucked back up was... it was basically black.
That was two-thirds of the carpet, more or less didn't think to do the edges until a little too late... so tomorrow, I'll be working on the edges and the rest. More gross clumps of carpet matter and disturbingly black water... awesome!
