2 out of 3 ain't bad
It's my birthday! And I've had three cakes this weekend. Two of them were even birthday cakes, and both of those were even for my birthday! Hence the title.
No candles, though. I think that's a first. Not that I'm complaining. Also, today was the first day I can recall that it actually rained on my birthday.
Anyway! It's been fabulous. We got to party last night, I had a very relaxing day today, and thanks to my fabulous husband I am now the oh-so-proud owner of the new Vienna Teng cd, my very own little hymn book (adorably embossed with "Reesie S."), and a copy of Mark Twain's Diaries of Adam and Eve. It's short and witty and we read the whole thing and it made me cry at the end. Go figure.
This week there will be packing and cleaning and seeing my sister and gaming and...moving.
I'm quite happy with my life just now. ^____^
