As of today, Pearl Harbor Day, I am officially nineteen and a half.
That means I have only six months left to live...
...as a teenager.
I am also VERY (v. v. v.) happy to report that I will be going up to Provo on Friday to sign my contract (yay for the BYU 63rd ward!!!) for winter semester, and to deliver Christmas-ish goodies from London and/or Paris, and generally have a great time with the lovely girls of apartment 61 whom I haven't seen since August.
*GRIN*
It also looks like I'll be able to turn in my food journal on time (or at least by Saturday, which is on time for me...yay for nice teachers who extend deadlines. At least I'm not pulling a Dunn here--I think they'd kill me). I actually managed to do 3.5 entries therein this morning. And since that's a happy thought, I shall refrain from turning my attention to the class that I'll probably end up failing. *shifts eyes* Wouldn't that be fun...
*polishes halo*
*reminds self that classes can be re-taken*
*and that I have till the end of next semester to bring up my GPA in an attempt not to kill my scholarship*
*and that there are worse things in life than failing Shakespeare... even when you're an... English... major...*
*and ESPECIALLY that Midterms O'Death are not worth my sanity*
(*...literally*)
And in the spirit of being the good-news guru ("What are you Jack, the happiness guru? Are YOU happy?"), I was *THRILLED MORE THAN I CAN SAY* to find out that Year will have a summer AND a year seven sequel!!
*does the I-love-Harry-Potter-and-alternate-endings-that-don't-include-Snape-being-a-______ dance*
I've also been making headway in Maig... I haven't actually been writing much of it per se, but I HAVE been plotting (*devilish laugh*) and I really rather like where things are going. There's lots more to figure out, of course, but that's a good thing. I don't plan on finishing this thing for years.
He. He. He.
