The overdue trip posting we have had to TWIN LAKES, Colorado.
After about 2.5 hours of drive from Denver we finally reached Twin Lakes, Colorado. Why we took this trip was to see the Scenic Drive that was mentioned in several magazines and also considered in the National Scenic Byways of the US.
We were here for abit to have lunch and just been mesmerized with the flora and fauna and all the majestic mountains surrounding Twin Lakes. Among other things, in front of Twin Lakes itself stood the tallest mountain in Colorado named Mount Elbert.
This why for the upteen times, how I am in LOVE with Colorado, still am and still discovering Colorado with Sean and my family. Its more of me and Sean building our future here in Colorado. It nevers bore me a single bit. With the endless majestic mountains and places to explore, that is how I have been in love with Colorado since 1992. Furthermore, up to JUNE, we can still see the mountains covered with snow. The cooling weather that I love being at, just breathing the crispy air as if the mountains are the key way to heaven.
