Last weekend, on Saturday June 28 2008 to be exact, with much persuasion from me, Sean finally agreed to purchase his climbing gears. Since it was also a REI Garage SALE for members we managed to purchase some good deals both for Sean and I. That's so cool!! I really want to get my own climbing gear and get into the sport more seriously. I've only been once so far, but I loved it! AND made it all the way to the top of my first big wall (even though it took me 20 minutes and I spent a lot of time just clinging and going "Okay...now what??")

Oh man. I want to go again! Dammit, I need a partner for during the day.

I think you can find reputable climbing partners from your local rock climbing gym. There is also several groups or meetups all across the US in order to climb with a climbing partner etc etc..

Sometimes, if you cant find the situable route that is in the climbing gym, just do what you can and climb with any foot holds or hand holds along the routes...

Meanwhile happy climbing and safe climbing...
