To be honest? I'm really not sure. I've certainly read about the history of medicine on Earth-That-Was, and I've seen some representations of the hospitals but....

Well, things that happened that long ago get a bit muddled.

Not from my future, I can guarantee that.

Not from my time, either. Nor from any time before mine, at least I've never heard about it.

You're from quite a ways back though, aren't you?

I am. But how would you be sure that places like this actually exist at ne time?

Well there are marked similarities to the hospitals where I'm from. Though this one is woefully understocked and...well, it's not as advanced.

Regardless of that, though, a hospital is a hospital. It's easy enough to surmise from the way many of the other residents are talking about it. They recognize what it is easily enough, so it must be something that actually existed in this form at one time.
