I totally dig this. The way their sordid relationship works is very much this emotional/intellectual/physical game. It's something they can only get with each other and so they go through the motions necessary, the various gameplays if you will, that keep bringing them back to the same place. With each other in every way that that is possible. It doesn't need to make any sense to anyone else, hell they're still coming to terms with what exactly it is. But it's real...that much they know.
